Four steps. You pay at the last one.

  1. Send the brief

    About 3 minutes

Tell us what you do, who you serve, and what you want visitors to do. Rough answers are fine. Sending a brief charges nothing and commits you to nothing.

    You pay $0

  2. We build it

Within 48 hours of your brief

We use AI to build fast. A person checks every first version before you see it. Bigger sites, or briefs missing key details, take a few days more.

    You pay $0

  3. You review the preview

    At your pace

Open the private link on your phone and your computer. Tell us what to change. Reasonable revisions before launch are included. We revise the preview with you until it matches your brief.

    You pay $0

  4. Approve and go live

    When you decide

When you approve the preview, you set up your SMBcrm account and card for the $15 hosting plan. That is the only time we ask for payment details.

You pay $15 a month starts here

If you are not ready to launch, you owe nothing.

$0 now. $15 when you go live.

FreeWebGuy charges nothing for the build. We earn from hosting, which costs $15 a month and starts only after you approve your site, so the site has to be good enough to keep.

  • Appointment businesses, such as salons, dentists and groomers
  • Restaurants, cafes and shops
  • Professionals and nonprofits

You need a few pages that look credible, load fast and bring in calls, quote requests or bookings.

We quote first

  • Stores with large catalogs
  • Custom software
  • Membership sites
  • Complex integrations

Mention these in your brief. We quote them before any work starts.

Not the right fit

People who want to build the site themselves.

Wix and Squarespace are good tools for that. Compare your options.

We review every brief and can decline a project that does not fit. Sending one never commits you or authorizes a charge.

The questions people ask before saying yes.

FreeWebGuy is a done-for-you website service for small businesses. We design and build your site for $0, and you pay $15 a month for hosting once you approve it.

What's the catch?

The catch is the $15 a month for hosting, and it starts only after you approve your site. FreeWebGuy makes its money on hosting, not on the build, so the site has to be good enough that you keep it. There is no setup fee and no contract, and you can cancel any month.

See the full price breakdown
Do I pay anything before I see my site?

No. Sending the FreeWebGuy brief costs nothing and asks for no card. You get a private preview of the full site first, and you pay only if you approve it and set up your $15-a-month SMBcrm plan to go live.

Do I own my website?

Your domain, logo, photos and text stay yours. The site design and the hosting platform are licensed to you while your $15 plan is active. If you cancel, the site goes offline, but your domain and your content still belong to you.

Who owns what, in full
How long does it take?

FreeWebGuy sends a first version within 48 hours of your brief. Bigger sites, or briefs missing key details, take a few days more. The site goes live after you approve the preview and set up your SMBcrm plan, so you choose the launch date.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Month to month, no contract. Cancel the $15 plan any month in your SMBcrm account. FreeWebGuy charges no cancellation fee. Emailing FreeWebGuy does not cancel the SMBcrm plan, though we can point you to the right place in your account. When the plan ends, the site goes offline.
