1. Services
FreeWebGuy ("we," "us," "our") provides website design and hosting services. We build websites at no upfront cost. You pay a monthly hosting fee to keep your site live and maintained.
2. Hosting & Payment
- Website hosting is billed monthly at the agreed-upon rate (currently $15/month for standard websites).
- Payment is due on the same date each month.
- If payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. After 14 days of non-payment, your site may be taken offline.
- We retain your site data for 30 days after service cancellation.
3. Website Ownership
- You own your content — text, images, logos, and other materials you provide.
- We retain ownership of the website design, code, and templates until the hosting agreement is terminated.
- Upon cancellation, we will help you export your content upon request.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your hosting at any time with no cancellation fees.
- There are no long-term contracts or commitments.
- To cancel, contact us via email or our contact page.
5. Website Updates
- Small content updates (text changes, image swaps) are included with your hosting.
- Major redesigns or significant feature additions may incur additional fees, which will be discussed in advance.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services for:
- Illegal activities or content
- Content that infringes on others' intellectual property
- Spam, malware, or phishing
- Content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
7. Limitation of Liability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions, data loss, or third-party actions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the preceding 12 months.
8. Third-Party Services
Your website is hosted on our SMBcrm platform. Where the service relies on third-party infrastructure providers, those providers are governed by their own terms; we manage them on your behalf.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes at least 30 days in advance via email.
