Catering and private events

Book the truck for your event

We bring the truck, park where your venue allows, and serve your guests at the window for two hours. For early meetings, skip the truck and we’ll drop off a box of foil-wrapped burritos instead.

Two ways to book

Option 1

The truck at your event

$15 a guest

Minimum $1,000 Monday to Thursday, $1,400 Friday to Sunday

Guests order at the window from a short menu you choose: up to three items from our regular menu, with red and green on everything. Office lunches, school fundraisers, backyard parties and weddings.

Option 2

Burrito drop-off

$9.50 a burrito

Minimum 24 burritos, ordered by 2 p.m. the day before

No truck and no setup. Breakfast burritos wrapped in foil, each one marked red, green or Christmas, delivered hot in insulated carriers. Delivery inside Albuquerque city limits is included.

Included with the truck

  • Two hours of service at the window
  • Arrival 45 minutes early to set up, and cleanup after
  • Plates, forks, napkins, and red and green on the side
  • Tax, built into the per-guest price

Not included

  • Drinks, if you want them: $2 a guest
  • Travel more than 20 miles from downtown, quoted up front
  • A park or venue permit, if your site needs one
  • Gratuity is up to you. We never add it to the bill.

How booking works

  1. Send the form

We answer within one business day with a written quote and the menu options.

  2. Hold the date

A 50% deposit by card or check holds it. The balance is due on the day.

  3. Confirm the details

A week out, we confirm the menu, the headcount and exactly where the truck parks.

If plans change: cancel 14 or more days out and we refund the deposit. Closer than that, it moves to another date within six months. If high wind or a storm shuts the event down, we move the date at no charge.

Before you pick a spot

What the truck needs at your site

Most venues have all of this. The form below asks about parking and power so we can sort it out before the day.

  • Room to park

A level spot about 30 feet long and 12 feet wide, on pavement or hard-packed dirt. Wet grass and steep driveways don’t work.

  • Clearance overhead

About 13 feet. Watch for low branches, carports and gate arches on the way in.

  • Power

We bring a quiet generator. If there’s a 50-amp outlet within 50 feet, we’ll plug in instead.

  • Permission to be there

Parks, campuses and some HOAs need their own permit for a food truck. We’ll tell you what we know, but the venue has the final say.

  • Space for a line

Room for 15 people to wait without blocking a door, a driveway or the dance floor.

  • Time for the headcount

We serve about 90 plates an hour off a three-item menu. Past 150 guests, plan a longer window or add a burrito drop-off.

Event request

Tell us about your event

A written quote comes back within one business day. Nothing is booked until the deposit is paid.

Paperwork for your venue

We hold a City of Albuquerque mobile food unit permit and a current fire inspection. We’ll send copies, plus a certificate of insurance naming your venue, when they ask.

Paying

Deposit by card or check. The balance on the day by card, check or cash.
