How a mobile visit works
What we bring, and what we need from you.
Water and power: ours
The van carries a 100-gallon water tank and a quiet generator, so nobody has to find a hose or run a cord out the front door.
Prefer we use your spigot and outlet? Say so in the request and we take $10 off. In apartment and office lots we switch to a rinseless wash, so no water runs to the storm drain.
A spot to work
We need the car and about a car’s width of room beside it: a driveway, a garage, a carport or a marked space.
At an apartment or office, check with the property manager first. We can email them our insurance certificate.
You, at the start and the end
Meet us for a two-minute walk-around so we can point out scratches and stains before we touch anything. Then look the car over with us when we’re done.
In between, leave us the keys and go about your day.
Before we arrive
- Take out anything you don’t want moved. Whatever’s left gets bagged and set on the front seat.
- Leave car seats in if you want us to clean around them. Take them out if you want the seat underneath done.
- Send the gate code or parking space number with your request.
- For polish and coating jobs, clear the garage or carport. That work can’t happen in direct sun.

The van starts the day near Olmos Park. Anywhere inside 1604 has no travel fee; the towns just past it add a flat $20.

Ceramic coating
Read this before anyone sells you a coating.
A coating makes paint slick and quicker to wash for a couple of years or more. It won’t stop rock chips, it won’t hide swirl marks, and the car still needs washing. We wrote up the prep, the upkeep and the prices so you can decide at home.

Questions we get
Before you send a request
What happens if it rains?
If rain is in the forecast for your slot, we text you the evening before and move you to the next open day. Moving for weather costs nothing. A garage or carport keeps the appointment on either way.
Can you get dog hair out?
Most of it, with the pet hair add-on. Hair that has worked deep into some carpets won’t all come out, and we’ll tell you at the walk-around if your car is one of those.
Will stains and smells come out?
Fresh spills usually lift. Old stains and smoke smell often fade a lot but may not disappear, so we don’t promise it. You’ll hear what we expect before we start.
Do I have to be home the whole time?
No. Be there for the walk-around at the start and the look-over at the end. In between you can head out, as long as we have the keys and a number to reach you on.
How do I pay?
At the end, after you’ve looked the car over: card, tap or cash. Polish and coating jobs hold the day with a $100 deposit, which comes off the bill.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and garagekeepers coverage. Garagekeepers is the part that covers your car while it’s in our care. Property managers at apartments and offices can ask us for a certificate.
